Download on iTunes: http://smarturl.it/OCMSBigIronWorld Links: http://www.facebook.com/OldCrowMedicineShow "I Hear Them All" Lyrics: I hear the crying of the hungry in the deserts where they're wandering. Hear them crying out for heaven's own benevolence upon them. Hear destructive power prevailing, I hear fools falsely hailing. To the crooked wits of tyrants when they call. I hear them all I hear them all I hear them all I hear the sounds of tearing pages and the roar of burning paper. All the crimes in acquisitions turn to air and ash and vapor. And the rattle of the shackle far beyond emancipators. And the loneliest who gather in their stalls. I hear them all I hear them all I hear them all So while...

Just a little something I wanted to do for some family of mine. I know I don't have the greatest of voices, and that I could use some tweaking on some parts here, but I just wanted to put this out there for some family of mine to see, and also for myself to see what people think so I can know how and what to improve on specifically. Thank you.

Eutaw is probably my favourite OCMS album and all but one of the songs on it are traditional so I thought it would be cool to recreate the albums track list using the original versions. I've used the versions that I believe inspired Old Crow and where I couldn't work that out I used the most well known version of the song or the one I could find that most resembles the version on Eutaw. I've included pictures of the original artists for all but two of the songs (Tear It Down and Shack No. 9) where no pictures were available. Below is a listing of which artists play which songs, the label they recorded them for and the year they were recorded. Enjoy some old-timey music! 1. Raise A Ruckus (Gus Cannon, Stax, 1963) 2. Tear It Down (King David's Jug Band, Okeh, 1930) 3. If The River Was W...

The Collectors with Howie Vickers (lead vocals), Bill Henderson (lead guitar/ later lead with Chilliwack), Claire Lawrence (sax), Glenn Miller (bass), Ross Turney (drums) with a sound described as New Vibrations, performed "Lydia Purple." The Poppy Family with Terry (guitar) & Susan Jacks (lead vocals), Craig McCaw (sitar) and Satwant Singh (tablas), performed raga rock with "Beyond the Clouds." My Indole Ring with John King (lead vocals) were a psych or acid rock band. Their songs were "Wake Me, Shake Me"/"Orange Float Petals." Finally Papa Bear's Medicine Band with Vic Stewart (...
Someone set fire at the field last night
turned himself in this morning
No, I don't think you knew him but
that's not the point
ah ha ha ha
Well the cops asked
why he'd done it
as they fastened up the cuffs
He looked at what he'd done and said
"guess I just don't know"
No, I don't know
But you can feel in your heart
feel in your soul
feel it go allround till you
loose control
now there's just a few things
that can't be told
don't you feel it burn
don't you feel it burn
oh don't you feel it burn
There was this friend that you and I had
there were a few things he believed in
and then one by one he found some flaws
now he's not so sure
No he's not that sure
But you can feel in your heart
feel in your soul
feel it go around till you
loose control
now there's just a few things
that can't be told
don't you feel it burn
don't you feel it burn
oh don't you feel it burn
I woke up alone this morning
I looked around the room
Someday there's gonna be hell to pay
I know
yeah I know
there's gonna be hell
to pay I know
Oh you can feel in your heart
feel in your soul
feel it go around till you
loose control
now there's just a few things
that can't be told
don't you feel it burn
don't you feel it burn
oh don't you feel it burn
oh don't you feel it burn
oh don't you feel it burn
Now oh wow ow woh woh ah ah ah ah
Do you feel it
Ah Ah Ah Ah
